Intent TOC

First of all this is intended to be a low cost, volunteer, county assigned, free lance effort.

This is a peer producer/volunteer activity.

This is a community supported, free lance run, show content provider or producer supported activity.

When the expectations, requests and demands of the listing producer becomes a burden, the willingness of volunteers to continue will decline.

This is a producer helping other producers activity.

If you have very high expectations, you will need to go on your own, and create, manage, support, promote and pay for your own publicity linking web page.

hyperlinks TOC

The Community-TV-Shows.com web page will, on the producers choice, have connecting hyperlinks to the URL of their own web page.

This Community-TV-Shows.com is just a common place where viewers can be pointed to.

This web page will support all show producers, at a modest level of text information and photo image sufficiency.

first stage TOC

No plans at first stage to provide audio nor video streaming. Text and Photos only

Goal TOC

The goal is for all CTV producers to be represented and supported, on an equal storage cost, and reporting activity cost basis.

promote TOC

When an individual first gets started, in video production, it is hard enough to get the first couple of shows done. Let alone, figure out how to promote, and find a way to get the show publicity in front of the viewing public. And also provide the potential viewers a way to find the show date and time on the TV dial.

This is intended as an experienced producer,

providing a way to help, to promote, and to nourish other experienced and also less experienced or first time producers.

The goal would be to provide a common place that every community TV producer could list information about their show. This page would be a page of their own design, with information of their own intent.

Only honest, decent, and legal images and descriptions will appear on these pages.

NORMS TOC

What you do on the Community-TV-Shows.com will follow community NORMS set by the webmaster.

What you do on your own web page is your own choice, and follows your own norms.

on-air mention TOC

A producer who mentions on-air, that they are listed on this community tv web page, and recommends the that their own viewers go to the "Community-TV-Shows.com " and check out other CTV producer shows, this would act like and be a force multiplier, or an effort amplifier, in favor of all producers.

County Rep TOC

For this to work at some "X" level of sufficiency, we would need at least one person from each reporting county, who also has a Cable TV connection in their own home. And they would need Email connectivity. I suggest we call this individual a County Rep

They would need to be able to monitor and verify that the reported program is indeed, still on at that time. Required Once a cycle reporting.

| Avoid stale information |

verification TOC

This verification would only be fitting for regularly scheduled 13 week, regularly scheduled 1 month, and regularly scheduled 6 month shows.

The verification of special shows, or shows that alternate on a every other week basis, poses some reporting and listing problems.

We would like that each regularly scheduled program, would be verified at least once in a 3 or 6 month period.

And they could be reported on incrementally, at different times, in different amounts. "Catch as catch can."

The web page would be updated, as soon as possible, as the information came in from counties.

This is not intended as a daily or weekly activity.

Create and list it once. Verify and report it only at 3-6 months intervals.

Reported form TOC

All information must be reported by text email

In a form supplied by web master.

The web master would then transfer dates and times of verification to the web.

separate process TOC

There is a separate process handled directly by the web master, where text info, and Photo or graphic images,

Is received, read and observed, and uploaded to the web page. There is also the time and effort to remove existing page and info.

Page up dates TOC

All page updates are done in one step. You keep the original, and make modifications, and re send the entire page at one activity.

Do not expect us to make individual changes based on verbal instructions. You modify it in its entirety, you send a single HTML file that fully replaces the first HTML file, directly to the Web master

Additional changes TOC

Any requests for changes, beyond the original agreement, will result in a need for an additional contribution.

It is possible that after 3 months into a 6 month cycle

You will discover new information you wish to post. We prefer that this frequent changing information is done on your own web page. However if you donít have one and this is your only web presence, we can help you.

Just donít expect others to be paying for your additional activity and space on the sight. You need more changes talk to the web master.

County reps are involved only at the initial county listing stage, and at the verification cycles.

Web master is involved in any other issues

Page dating TOC

On the page that ( show time ) will be reported, there will be a [ last observed on ] field, and a [ last updated on ] that shows when { date } the show was viewed and the time { hr:min } it aired on cable.

And a [ last updated on ] that shows when

{ date } the show info and time { hr:min } it was placed on the web page.

URL Producers % TOC

We expect that 50% of the producers will have their own web page that they wish to primarily promote and support.

NON-URL Producers % TOC

We expect that 50% of the producers will not have their own web page, and can not pay for, or have the {mental attention, skills, effort or time}

to prepare a web page, beside having enough time to produce their show.

The Community-TV-Shows.com web page could provide at least some minimum web page support for them. Every time they mentioned visiting this web page they would all be supporting each other, in finding a common place to look to find information about community TV shows.

Update cycle TOC

We do not see a weekly update per producer.

This is intended as a periodic once a month for specials, and alternate weekly shows.

We see a once every 3-6 months change or update, for the 13 week or 6 month cycles of regularly scheduled programs.

First step TOC

Anyone wanting a web page listing can send email to the webmaster@ctv-shows.com

Or visit the web page www.ctvshows.com

And click on the Producer links at the top of the page. Then click on the initial request for listing.

Regularly scheduled show reporting activity will take less work than, weekly of special show activity.

Regularly scheduled show reporting activity will

Only be done once a 13 week or 6 month cycle.

Specials will need to be done on a monthly cycle.

In Development page TOC

We can also have a "In Development" page.

On this page would be a list and brief description of

Any show In Development. It would be possible for

Producers to list what they are working on and looking for help. "Working titles" could be listed or "Project code names" could be mentioned to provide a way to link people to activities.

Contact phone numbers, email addresses, web page links all provided.

I wish to get phase 1, quickly and simply done.

I do not wish to overly complicate, the effort with a bunch of variable, easy to articulate, hard to implement, complex qualifications.

Steps and Stages TOC

We imagine that the first time a producer hears about the "Community-TV-Shows.com web page" will be as a result of personal contact from John W. Gutmann to the other producers.

existing producer awareness TOC

An existing producer may also find the web page by searching the INTERNET like using google.

A existing producer may also find the web page by viewing the "Caught In Clapper" show in either Fulton, Dekalb, or Gwinnett counties.

A existing producer may also find the web page by talking with other producers.

A existing producer may also find the web page by

seeing a 8x11 flyer posted at CTV Studios,

Future producer awareness TOC

A new or future producer may find the web page by

other existing producers, viewing the "Caught In Clapper" show in either Fulton, Dekalb, or Gwinnett counties, viewing other producer show URL mention.

Ideally the new producer would find out about the web page from training instructors at each studio facility, during the training and certification process. It is expected that the local station web page would be mentioned first, and that this was only a multi county linking web page.

viewer awareness TOC

A viewer may find the web page by any of the following methods: google search, www.mpvp.tv, "Caught In Clapper" show, any CTV producer who includes a ID or verbal mention of the web page,

This is a grass-route effort, by producers to help every other producer to promote their productions.

Producers helping producers.

This web page will support connecting the community viewers with community produced programs.

The first step is to contact by email the web master

And resolve any unknown issues.
